Job summary

Encova Insurance is seeking a Senior Property Resolution Specialist (Field Adjuster) to investigate, evaluate, and settle property claims with on-site inspections. The role is home-based, but you must reside in Northeast Ohio to support travel throughout the territory.

You will report to the Manager, Property Claims and require licensing, strong communication, and analytical skills. The position offers a bonus program and comprehensive benefits with a salary range of $61,742–$98,788 annually

Qualifications

• Requires experience as an Encova Insurance Property Resolution Specialist or equivalent.
• College degree in insurance or business or equivalent.
• Continuing insurance education (IIA/CPCU or similar) is desirable.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and people skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, estimate, and process property claims requiring on-site inspections.
• Handle personal and commercial property losses with on-site investigations.
• Inspect and write moderate to large property estimates using guides and software.
• Assist in risk evaluation and verify insurance-to-value and coinsurance penalties.
• Support inside property specialists with diagrams, photos, and inspections.
• Close a minimum average of 30 elements per month and participate in catastrophe claims.
