Job summary

Encova Insurance has a Senior Property Resolution Specialist (Field Adjuster) opening. This role is home-based, but resides in Northeast Ohio for travel across the territory. Reports to a Manager, Property Claims.

Prepare to investigate, evaluate, and settle property claims with on-site inspections, using estimating guides and software. Strong communication and negotiation skills required.

Qualifications

• This position requires Encova Property Resolution Specialist experience or equivalent.
• A college degree or equivalent in insurance or business is required.
• Continuing insurance education is desired (IIA or CPCU).
• Must maintain good judgment, communication, and professional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, estimate and process property claims with on-site inspections.
• Handle personal and commercial property losses and related liability issues.
• Write moderate to large property estimates using guides and software.
• Verify insurance to value and document changes to risk and coverage.
• Support others with diagrams, photos, statements in person, and inspections.
• Investigation and settlement of claims with timely closure targets.
