Job summary

You will collaborate with Project Managers and the Project Accounting Manager to manage complex billing, provide variance analysis, monitor drafts, and resolve issues to ensure invoices are delivered properly and on schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of billing experience including invoicing and accounting.
• Construction/Architectural/Engineering industry experience a plus.
• Ability to manage a large monthly volume of invoices.
• Strong organizational skills under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented and collaborative work style.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers and the Project Accounting Manager to ensure billing arrangements are followed prior to finalizing invoices.
• Prepare and submit Draft invoices and provide variance analysis to Project Managers.
• Coordinate and distribute monthly drafts to Project Managers for review and revisions.
• Monitor and finalize invoices after suggested revisions.
• Analyze invoices to ensure compliance with contract and invoicing guidelines.
• Handle billing requests in a timely manner for PMs.
• Research aging AR balances and advise on action.
• Address client revision requests and correct time entries as needed.
• Identify issues with billing information and resolve with PMs.
• Ensure matters, rates, timekeepers, and budgets are set for e-billing before submission.
• Submit invoices via various e-billing portals and monitor client accounts.
• Update annual billing rates as requested.
