Job summary

W.E. O’Neil in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Project Superintendent to oversee all field activities on a major construction project.

The role includes on-site administration, supervision, and technical management, mentoring junior staff, and coordinating with owners, vendors, and subcontractors. You will develop site logistics and safety programs, manage subcontractors, maintain the project schedule, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture or 5–10 years field experience.
• Proficiency with MS Project or P6 scheduling software.
• Experience managing subcontractors and field labor on large projects.
• Strong safety and QA/QC program knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations and coordination of subcontractors.
• Develop and enforce site safety programs and QA/QC.
• Maintain baseline and 8-week look-ahead schedules.
• Manage change orders and field documentation.
• Mentor field staff and conduct performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA 30 and Cal-OSHA where applicable.
