Job summary

W.E. O’Neil seeks a Project Superintendent to oversee all field activities on a major Austin construction project. You will supervise and mentor field staff, manage on-site operations, and oversee subcontractors and vendors to ensure project goals are met.

Role requires strong scheduling, safety program implementation, and coordination across teams. Significant experience with large-scale construction and site logistics is essential.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Proficiency in project scheduling software (MS Project or P6) and PM software (Prolog/Viewpoint/CMiC).
• MS Word, Excel, Outlook proficiency for field administration and reporting.
• Experience in supervising field teams and coordinating subcontractors on large projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all field activities and on-site administration of construction operations.
• Mentor Assistant Project Superintendent(s), Field Engineer(s), and laborers.
• Develop and enforce site safety programs and site logistics plans.
• Coordinate all subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries.
• Prepare and maintain project baseline schedules and update monthly.
• Ensure timely completion of punch lists and project closeout tasks.
