Job summary

W. E. O’Neil Construction seeks a Senior Project Superintendent to lead field operations on multiple large-scale projects from Pleasanton, CA.

You will oversee on-site administration, supervision and coordination of subcontractors, vendors and field staff to ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence. The role requires mentoring Project Superintendent(s) and Field Engineers, managing complex budgets, and ensuring project delivery across diverse market sectors.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading field teams on large construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, safety, and quality control processes.

Responsibilities

• Control field activities on one or more projects and supervise on-site staff.
• Mentor and manage Project Superintendent(s), Assistant Project Superintendent(s), Field Engineer(s) and laborers.
• Oversee subcontractors, vendors and field operations to ensure safety and schedule adherence.
• Coordinate RFQ/RFP processes and support bid package scopes.
