W.E. O’Neil Construction is seeking a Project Superintendent in Tucson, AZ to lead on-site construction activities, supervise a field team, and manage subcontractors and vendors.

The role emphasizes safety, scheduling, and cost control on multi-million dollar projects. The project requires a four-year degree or equivalent field experience, proficiency with scheduling software like P6 or MS Project, OSHA 30 certification, and proven leadership in complex construction environments.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent field experience in construction management, engineering or architecture.
• 5–10 years of relevant project field experience as Field Engineer/Asst. Project Superintendent.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with MS Project or P6 and project mgmt software like Prolog/Viewpoint/CMiC.
• OSHA 30-Hour Safety Course completed.
• First Aid and CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Control field activities and on-site administration for projects.
• Supervise and mentor Assistant Project Superintendent(s), Field Engineer(s) and laborers.
• Develop and enforce site logistics plan and site safety programs.
• Coordinate material deliveries and subcontractor activities.
• Assist Project Manager with subcontractor scopes and change orders.
• Maintain baseline schedule and weekly look-ahead schedules.
