Job summary

P&E Constructors is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler to develop, maintain, and analyze CPM schedules in Primavera P6 for large mechanical and electrical construction projects nationwide.

You will partner with project managers, superintendents, estimators, and project controls to translate scope into a resource-loaded plan, manage baselines, and deliver weekly and 90-day look‑aheads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 12+ years in construction; industrial mechanical/electrical experience preferred.
• 7+ years project scheduling using Primavera P6 on large capital projects.
• Strong CPM knowledge, float analyses, and recovery scheduling.
• Advanced Excel and schedule narrative/reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Build, status, and maintain CPM schedules in Primavera P6 per template.
• Establish and manage critical path, float, and schedule risk.
• Sequence mobilization through installation to substantial completion.
• Produce 3-week look‑ahead, 6-week labor look‑ahead, and 90‑day procurement reviews.
• Update progress with field data; enter actuals and remaining durations weekly.
• Develop time‑impact analyses for change orders and claims.
• Mentor junior schedulers and lead schedule review meetings.
