Job summary

RigUp is seeking an experienced Scheduling Lead to manage multiyear projects with complexity. You will be an expert Primavera P6 user, develop and maintain realistic project plans, ensure WBS integrity, and implement Earned Value Management across schedules.

The role requires PMP (preferred), strong communication, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while coordinating with contractors and project controls teams.

Qualifications

• Post secondary education in Engineering or Construction.
• PMP credential (preferred).
• 10+ years working experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assigned to major projects with multiyear duration with an extreme level of complexity.
• Develop a realistic project plan and schedule to meet project objectives.
• Ensure standard procedures and systems for project planning and scheduling are followed.
• Responsible for proper WBS, coding and resources integrated into the schedule.
• Implement Earned Value Management; report SPI and Earned Value curve.
• Coordinate contractor plans and schedules per project standards and contract requirements.
• Update schedules with progress and forecast remaining durations, milestones, and completion dates.
• Apply field experience to identify scheduling challenges and mitigation plans; prepare recovery schedules.
• Proactively report schedule status and communicate risks and mitigations with PM/CM and project control.
