Job summary

Luster seeks schedulers for major heavy civil infrastructure programs across highways, bridges, transit, aviation, and water projects. You will review schedules, maintain the master plan, and assess costs of slipped dates. Depth in CPM baseline, progress updates, and risk analysis is expected, with mentorship duties for junior schedulers.

This role supports a wide range of delivery methods and emphasizes timely, data-driven decision making to keep programs on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of scheduling experience on large heavy-civil projects.
• Experience with CPM baseline schedule development and variance analysis.
• Ability to explain results in written narrative.
• Ability to translate scope into logic-driven schedules.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an integrated CPM schedule covering design to turnover.
• Collect field progress data and produce look-ahead reports and forecasts.
• Run critical path and what-if analyses for sequencing options.
• Integrate external dependencies and long-lead procurement items.
• Generate narratives, charts, and KPI dashboards for stakeholders.
• Conduct schedule-risk assessments and track mitigation actions.
• Support change orders and Time Impact Analyses tied to cost.
• Enforce scheduling governance and mentor junior schedulers.
