Job summary

Luster National, Inc. in Newark, NJ seeks a Project Scheduler to lead CPM scheduling for major infrastructure programs. You will manage schedules covering design to turnover, incorporate external dependencies, and deliver clear progress updates and forecasts.

Responsibilities include risk analysis, what‑if sequencing, and recovery planning, plus mentoring junior schedulers and ensuring data integrity across scheduling tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/construction management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years scheduling experience on large heavy‑civil infra projects.
• Experience with CPM schedules, resource/cost loading, progress updates and variance analysis.
• Ability to translate scope and drawings into logic‑driven, sequenced schedules.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, Bluebeam and related PM software.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an integrated CPM schedule from design through turnover.
• Collect field progress data, update status, and produce look‑aheads and earned‑value forecasts.
• Run critical path and what‑if analyses to test options and recovery plans.
• Integrate third‑party interfaces, permitting, and long‑lead procurement into the plan.
• Generate reports, Gantt charts, S‑curves, and KPI dashboards for stakeholders.
• Perform schedule risk assessments and quantify exposure using Monte Carlo or similar tools.
• Support change orders by preparing Time Impact Analyses linking delays to cost.
• Enforce schedule governance and mentor junior schedulers.
