Job summary

Lusternational seeks an experienced Senior Scheduler to manage integrated master schedules for large heavy civil programs spanning highways, bridges, transit, aviation, and water/wastewater initiatives. You will test plans, quantify delays, and defend recovery strategies to support negotiations and payments.

You will analyze baselines, perform what-if analyses, and lead forensic reviews of disputed delays, using Monte Carlo risk tools and critical-path methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; 10+ years in scheduling large heavy-civil projects.
• Experience with full CPM baseline schedule development, resource/cost loading, progress updating, variance analysis.
• Experience evaluating time extension requests and Time Impact Analyses; document entitlement positions.
• Ability to interpret scope, drawings, constraints into logic-driven, sequenced schedules.
• Proficiency with scheduling software and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the integrated program master schedule across design, procurement, third-party, and construction contracts.
• Review baseline submittals and monthly updates for logic, durations, calendars, float, and resource or cost loading.
• Verify progress against field records and challenge data before payments or milestones.
• Run critical path, longest path, and what-if analyses to test sequencing and recovery proposals.
• Evaluate time extension requests and Time Impact Analyses; issue determinations on entitlement and float ownership.
• Perform forensic schedule analysis using as-planned vs as-built methods and document findings for disputes.
• Conduct schedule risk assessments using Monte Carlo simulations and track mitigation actions.
• Integrate third-party interfaces, permitting, ROW, utility relocations, and long-lead procurement.
• Generate narrative reports, look-aheads, S-curves, and KPI dashboards for leadership.
• Mentor junior schedulers and enforce governance standards.
