Job summary

Luster National, Inc. is seeking experienced Schedulers to support large heavy civil infrastructure programs across highways, bridges, transit, airports, and water projects.

Role involves building and maintaining integrated CPM schedules, updating progress, conducting what-if analyses, and providing narratives and KPI dashboards to project teams and executives. Collaboration and mentoring of junior schedulers are encouraged as part of rising planning maturity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/construction/transportation engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of scheduling experience on large, complex heavy‑civil projects.
• Experience with CPM baseline schedules, resource or cost loading, progress updating, and variance analysis.
• Monthly schedule updates, critical path analysis, and variance analysis with written narrative.
• Ability to translate scope and constraints into logic-driven, sequenced, resource-aware schedules.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an integrated CPM schedule covering design through turnover with logic links, cost loading, and clear coding.
• Collect field progress data, update status weekly or monthly, and produce look-aheads, variance reports, and earned-value forecasts.
• Run critical path and what-if analyses to test sequencing options, recovery plans, and alternative delivery scenarios.
• Integrate third-party interfaces, permitting, relocations, and long-lead procurement items to reflect external dependencies.
• Generate narrative reports, Gantt charts, S-curves, and KPI dashboards for project managers, field teams, and executives.
• Perform schedule-risk assessments, quantify exposure with tools like Monte Carlo simulations, and track contingencies.
• Support change orders and claims with Time Impact Analyses linking delays to cost and entitlement.
• Enforce schedule governance, maintain data integrity in scheduling tools, and mentor junior schedulers.
