Job summary

Luster National is seeking experienced schedulers to support large-scale heavy civil infrastructure programs across highways, bridges, transit, airports, and water projects. The role focuses on maintaining master schedules, assessing delays, and communicating the cost of slipped dates before funds are allocated.

Candidates should have a civil/structural/transportation engineering background and 5+ years in CPM scheduling with proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and related risk tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil, construction, structural, transportation, systems, or related).
• 5+ years scheduling experience on large, complex heavy civil infrastructure projects (>$500M).
• Experience with CPM baseline schedule development, resource/cost loading, progress updating and variance analysis.
• Experience with monthly schedule updates, critical path and variance analysis and explaining results in writing.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an integrated CPM schedule from design through turnover with proper coding for cost-control alignment.
• Collect field progress, update status and produce look-aheads, variances, and earned-value forecasts.
• Run critical path and what-if analyses to test sequencing and recovery options.
• Integrate external dependencies (permits, relocations, long-lead items) into the plan.
• Generate narrative reports, Gantt charts, S-curves, and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Conduct schedule-risk assessments and track mitigation actions.
