Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking a Project Scheduler to develop and maintain schedules for multiple construction projects using CPM techniques. You will organize bid proposals, review data, and collaborate with project teams to ensure schedules and resources stay on track.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent, 5+ years of experience, and strong skills in Primavera P6 and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing scheduling for commercial construction projects.
• 5+ years of experience or equivalent specialized training and work experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 scheduling software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, handle a large workload, and prioritize to meet deadlines.
• Independently apply advanced analysis techniques and oversee construction processes while leading others.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain schedules for assigned projects using CPM techniques.
• Organize and prioritize incoming bid proposals to meet deadlines.
• Review project schedule data, including activity records, dates, budgets, and WBS.
• Evaluate work packages for feasibility and suggest efficient methods.
• Interface with customers to communicate status and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with preconstruction team to ensure accurate schedule communication.
• Ensure resources are available to maintain schedules and flag constraints.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for status updates on activities and milestones.
• Coordinate projects with all participants to keep plans current daily.
