Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking a Project Scheduler to develop and maintain software schedules for multiple construction projects within the strategic business units. You will monitor progress against baselines, explain variances, and prepare reports on schedule trends to support the project team.

The role requires a B.S. in Construction Management and at least five years of scheduling experience, expert knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Office, and the ability to manage a heavy workload across

Qualifications

• Develop and maintain CPM schedules for multiple projects.
• Review and verify schedule data including activities, start/finish dates, and budgets.
• Analyze requirements with the project team to ensure feasible, on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains schedules for all assigned projects utilizing CPM techniques.
• Organizes and prioritizes incoming bid proposals to meet deadlines.
• Reviews project schedule data and validates activity dates, WBS, and costs.
• Evaluates work packages and suggests alternative methods to meet targets.
• Interfaces with customers to report schedule status and corrective actions.
