Job summary

Layton Construction seeks a Scheduler to work closely with the Project Team to maintain CPM schedules and meet project controls standards. You will interface with estimating, design and construction to manage quantity, cost and schedule from original estimate through project completion.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–8 years of scheduling experience, with Primavera P6 or MSP proficiency and knowledge of Earned Value Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field or equivalent experience.
• 3–8 years of scheduling experience with CPM/Windows-based tools.
• Experience with Earned Value Management and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Prepares CPM scenarios for management and integrates into a complete schedule.
• Accumulates and analyzes historical and forecast data for planning.
• Develops understanding of project scopes and contracts.
• Communicates with Owner to ensure satisfaction and take corrective action when needed.
• Provides scheduling analysis for delays and impacts to identify risk.
• Notifies management of concerns regarding schedule, delays, and documentation.
• Participates in pursuits and supports fee proposals and RFPs.
