Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking a Project Scheduler to develop and maintain CPM schedules for construction projects, monitor progress, and report trends. You will explain variances and support the project team with scheduling standards and procedures.

The role requires five or more years of scheduling experience in commercial construction, strong Primavera P6 and MS Office skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
• Five (5+) years of experience in scheduling for commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 scheduling software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience overseeing construction processes and leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CPM schedules for assigned projects.
• Organize and prioritize bid proposals to meet deadlines.
• Review schedule data, including start/finish dates, budgets, and WBS.
• Communicate status and corrective actions to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with preconstruction team to ensure clear scheduling info.
• Ensure resources are available to maintain schedules and report constraints.
• Coordinate status updates with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure plans are achievable and up-to-date on a daily basis.
