Michels Infrastructure Solutions is seeking a Project Procurement Manager to lead all procurement activities for a major hyperscale data center construction project. You will develop the procurement strategy, lead a team of procurement professionals, manage supplier relationships, and ensure alignment with project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and governance.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 10+ years of progressive procurement experience on mid- to large-scale construction or data center projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead procurement activities against complex schedules, budgets, and milestones.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, governance, supplier relationships, and risk management.
• Willingness to travel approximately 75% and support long-term onsite project assignments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the project procurement strategy aligned with construction schedules and budgets.
• Lead and coordinate procurement activities across Michels companies for multidisciplinary scopes.
• Manage and develop procurement professionals including buyers, specialists, and expeditors.
• Establish procurement priorities, resources, performance expectations, and reporting standards.
• Identify and mitigate procurement, supply chain, and commercial risks before they impact execution.
• Maintain procurement governance, supplier relationships, and ensure delivery requirements and quality standards.
