Job summary

Michels Infrastructure Solutions seeks a Project Procurement Manager to lead procurement strategy and supplier management for a major hyperscale data center project. You will coordinate across Michels companies to align purchasing with schedules, budgets, quality standards, and governance.

Based in the United States with extensive field involvement, you will build and lead a procurement team, manage supplier relationships, and ensure continuity of materials, long-lead items, and milestones while

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience leading procurement for mid- to large-scale construction, industrial, EPC, or data center projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the project procurement strategy in alignment with the construction schedule, budget, objectives, and customer requirements.
• Lead and coordinate procurement activities across Michels companies supporting multi-disciplinary construction scopes.
• Manage procurement professionals including buyers, procurement specialists, and expeditors.
• Establish procurement priorities, resource requirements, performance expectations, and reporting standards.
• Identify and mitigate procurement, supply chain, commercial, quality, and schedule risks before they impact project execution.
• Maintain procurement governance and ensure compliance with budgets and delivery requirements.
