Job summary

Michels Infrastructure Solutions is seeking a Project Procurement Manager for a major hyperscale data center project. You will lead the procurement strategy, manage suppliers, and coordinate across Michels Family of Companies to align with schedules and budgets.

The role requires strong procurement and commercial expertise, leadership, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 10+ years in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
• Experience managing procurement for large construction, EPC, or data-center projects.
• Strong knowledge of procurement governance, supplier relationship management, and risk.
• Willingness to travel ~75% and coordinate across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the project procurement strategy aligned with the construction schedule and budget.
• Lead procurement activities across Michels companies supporting the project scopes.
• Manage procurement professionals including buyers, specialists, and expeditors.
• Establish procurement priorities, resource needs, and reporting standards.
• Identify and mitigate procurement, supply chain, and schedule risks.
• Maintain procurement governance and ensure supplier compliance and quality.
