Jacobs is seeking a Senior Project Procurement Manager (PPM) for Advanced Manufacturing in the United States. You will oversee Purchasing, Subcontracting, Expediting and Supplier Quality Surveillance on mega projects ($750M+ TIC) and high-importance projects across Jacobs AM.

You will lead procurement teams, manage POs and subcontracting, drive risk mitigation, and ensure alignment with project goals. The role requires extensive experience in engineering and capital construction purchasing,

Qualifikationen

• 18+ years of experience in engineering and/or capital construction purchasing, contracting, expediting, supplier quality management and material management.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools, including intermediate to advanced MS Excel.
• Drive to solve complex and challenging problems.
• Desire to manage a team of procurement professionals through demonstrated inspirational leadership.

Aufgaben

• Lead upfront procurement planning: SMEP, strategies, templates and tools.
• Lead teams of buyers, expeditors, and subcontract admins; set priorities and train staff.
• Apply critical thinking to maximize procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
• Oversee major purchases of long-lead equipment and high-risk materials.
• Manage subcontracting of professional/technical services on large projects.
• Administer POs, procurement agreements, and change orders.
• Review invoices for compliance with terms and conditions.
• Identify and mitigate PO/subcontract risks with the PS Management Team.
• Develop bidder lists, issue RFQs, and evaluate bids.
• Lead source selections and negotiations for POs/subcontracts.
• Serve as SME for a commodity or specialized subject area.
• Coordinate with project/department personnel on procurement activities.
