Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Project Procurement Manager for Advanced Manufacturing on a US-based mega-project. You will lead procurement planning, manage teams of buyers, expeditors, and subcontract administrators, and drive purchasing and subcontracting for high-value initiatives.

The role reports to the Director of Supply Management AM and requires 18+ years of experience, a bachelor's degree, and solid MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of experience in purchasing, contracting, expediting, supplier quality management and material management.
• Experience leading procurement teams on large projects.
• Strong MS Office (Excel) skills and ability to use procurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead upfront procurement planning: SMEP, strategies, templates and reports.
• Direct teams of buyers/expeditors/subcontract admins and coordinate with project management.
• Maximize procurement efficiency and handle major purchases and high-risk materials.
• Negotiate POs/subcontracts and manage documentation and changes.
• Identify risks and lead supplier bid processes and source selections.
