Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Project Procurement Manager for Advanced Manufacturing in the US to lead procurement planning, subcontracting, expediting, and supplier quality on mega projects. You will manage teams, drive strategy, and ensure compliant, value-driven purchasing on high-profile programs.

Reporting to the Director of Supply Management, AM, you will coordinate with project managers, oversee POs and subcontracting, mentor staff, and push for risk mitigation, schedule adherence, and

Qualifications

• 18+ years of experience in engineering and/or capital construction purchasing, contracting, expediting, supplier quality management and material management.
• Proficient with MS Office tools, including intermediate to advanced MS Excel.
• Strong ability to solve complex problems and lead a procurement team.
• Proven leadership experience in guiding procurement professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead upfront procurement planning, SMEP, and strategy development for mega projects.
• Manage teams of buyers, expeditors, and subcontract administrators with oversight.
• Maximize procurement efficiency through critical thinking and problem solving.
• Oversee PO/subcontracting, changes, and supplier performance.
• Conduct bid evaluations and source selections, negotiate terms.
