Jacobs is seeking a Senior Project Procurement Manager for Advanced Manufacturing projects in the United States. You will lead purchasing, subcontracting, expediting and supplier quality surveillance on mega projects and high‑importance initiatives, guiding teams and coordinating with project management to deliver value.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of experience in engineering and/or capital construction purchasing, contracting, expediting, supplier quality management and material management.
• Experience using MS Office tools, including intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills.
• A drive to solve complex and challenging problems.
• A desire to manage a team of procurement professionals through demonstrated inspirational leadership.

Responsabilités

• Lead upfront procurement planning: SMEP drafting, purchasing and subcontract strategies, and templates/tools.
• Oversee teams of buyers, expeditors, and subcontract administrators; assign priorities and train staff.
• Use critical thinking to maximize procurement efficiency and results on megaprojects.
• Manage purchases of long-lead equipment and high-risk materials.
• Oversee subcontracting for professional/technical services on large projects.
• Apply policies and tools to procurement processes and documentation.
• Review and approve PO/subcontract invoices per terms.
• Identify risks and coordinate with the PS Management Team to mitigate them.
• Lead bidder lists, RFQs, bid evaluations, and source selections.
• Negotiate POs/subcontracts and provide subject-matter expertise on commodities.
