Cannon Design is looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer to work remotely within the U.S., with a preference for candidates near major cities like Buffalo, NY. This role involves performing and directing complex designs for HVAC systems, mentoring staff, and participating in design quality assurance processes.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience, hold a current Professional Engineer (PE) license, and possess strong communication skills. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package including remote work options.

Formación

• Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
• Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the United States.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of life safety codes.
• Ability to serve in QA/QC process.

Responsabilidades

• Perform and direct complex design of HVAC systems for large-scale buildings.
• Interface effectively with clients and design team members.
• Oversee, guide, and mentor less experienced staff.
• Prepare Revit/BIM models from schematic to construction phases.
• Conduct site visits to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress.

Advanced knowledge of mechanical engineering

Experience with engineering design software (e.g., Revit)

Educación
