Job summary

AEP Service Corporation is seeking an experienced project management professional to lead base to complex projects within a matrix environment. You will plan, direct, and coordinate activities, ensuring safe, economical delivery while maximizing customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong communication, budgeting, and vendor management, with opportunities to advance through PM Associate, PM Senior, or PM Principal tracks. Travel is typically limited to project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with three years qualified experience; or Associate’s with five years; or HS diploma with seven years.
• Three years of experience as PROJECT MANAGER ASSOCIATE (Grade 6) preferred or demonstrated competencies.
• PMP certification preferred but not required.
• Experience in outages, project controls, and cost estimating is beneficial.
• Knowledge of safety, scope development and contract management is a plus.
• Valid state driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate assigned project activities.
• Lead planning meetings and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Develop and manage project plan, schedule, budget, tools, and staff.
• Communicate clearly in written and oral reports; build relationships with stakeholders.
• Coach team members in project management skills and best practices.
• Develop procurement plans and manage outside contracts and vendors.
