Job summary

Ajax Building Company, part of the STO Building Group, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead planning and execution of complex mission-critical construction projects in the Southeast. You will coordinate field leadership, subcontractors, and stakeholders while ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence.

The PM reports to the Project Executive and serves as primary contact for owners, architects, and engineers.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of construction project management experience.
• Experience leading mission critical/data center projects from concept to completion.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• General Contractor License preferred.
• Strong understanding of industry practices and trends and their impact on the corporation.
• Advanced interpersonal, communicative, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and manage assigned personnel according to policy.
• Develop and implement project operating procedures.
• Approve materials and equipment not in the estimate.
• Act as company representative in negotiations with owners.
• Oversee project budget and schedule.
• Audit activities to ensure profitable project delivery.
• Maintain strong participation in the Quality Improvement Plan.
• Foster good relations with project teams, subcontractors, and owners.
