Job summary

Hedrick Brothers Construction seeks a Project Manager III to lead our largest and most complex Florida projects, ensuring quality, safety, and profitability. You will manage budgets, schedules, and owner relationships, while guiding a project team and coordinating with preconstruction, VDC, and field staff.

You will read contracts, handle pay requests, and drive value through cost control and timely submittals, aiming for owner satisfaction and repeat business.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant commercial construction experience.
• OSHA 30-Hour certification required or willingness to obtain.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Procore, and Bluebeam.
• Strong financial acumen, leadership, and owner-facing communication on complex projects.
• Reliable transportation and a valid Florida driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Accept ultimate responsibility for project success — quality assurance, safety, financial performance, and owner satisfaction.
• Lead largest and most complex projects, carrying full responsibility for the outcome.
• Manage budget, schedule, plans, and specifications for assigned project(s) in Procore.
• Provide monthly cost projections and progress reports showing baseline vs. actual and critical path.
• Read, understand, and follow owner contracts.
• Review and approve all field cost expenditures.
• Manage PCOs, CORs, change orders, CCAs, ACAs, direct material purchases, bonds, submittals, RFIs, and warranties as required.
• Process and manage owner and subcontractor pay requests timely.
