Job summary

Granite Construction Incorporated seeks a seasoned project leader to direct complex heavy civil projects with revenues of $50–$100 million and durations up to three years.

You will supervise up to 10 staff, coordinate with estimators and project controls, lead bid activities, and develop comprehensive startup plans to ensure profitable, safe execution. A BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and at least ten years of progressive experience in heavy civil construction is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten (10) years' progressive project experience in heavy civil environments.
• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in paving, dirt, and grading in either private or public environments.
• Experience as Large Projects Superintendent preferred.
• Experience in Design-build projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate project revenue and cost forecasting to ensure profitability goals.
• Manage a staff of up to 10 full-time employees including hiring, firing, and performance reviews.
• Coordinate with estimators and project controls to establish budget and plan.
