Job summary

MDS Staffing seeks a Senior Project Manager for industrial EPC projects onsite at our Houston facility, with 70% travel and per diem provided. You will lead large-scale electrical or mechanical construction initiatives, coordinating with clients, executives, field teams, and subcontractors to meet schedules and budgets.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in electrical/mechanical/industrial EPC, with PMP and OSHA credentials preferred, and the ability to drive safety, risk mitigation, and project

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in electrical, mechanical, industrial, utility, or EPC construction.
• Experience leading multimillion-dollar electrical or mechanical construction projects.
• PMP certification and OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the successful execution of large-scale electrical, mechanical, or industrial construction projects across all phases.
• Manage project financial performance including budgets, forecasting, cash flow, and change control.
• Direct and coordinate project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to align with objectives, schedules, and contracts.
• Develop strong client relationships and serve as primary contact for performance, negotiations, and issue resolution.
• Oversee scheduling, procurement, labor productivity, material management, and resource allocation.
• Ensure safety compliance with OSHA and project specs while fostering a proactive safety culture.
• Mentor and develop project managers, engineers, and field leaders to drive process improvements.
