Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation in Dayton, OH is seeking a Project Manager II to oversee multiple projects with moderate scope, delivering on time and within budget. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage plans, schedules, and resources, and report progress to senior leadership.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 4+ years PM experience, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Hybrid work and strong leadership are valued.

Qualifications

• BA/BS required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years of project management experience; 8+ years if no degree.
• Proven ability to lead multi-function teams and deliver complex projects.
• Ability to obtain a Secret U.S. security clearance.
• Ability to obtain Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects or one larger project from proposal through closeout.
• Assemble project teams, assign responsibilities, secure resources.
• Develop, define, and execute plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Interface with customers and internal staff on technical matters.
• Communicate project status with senior project managers, functional area managers, or program managers.
• Track progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, and other performance indicators.
• Prepare reports to keep stakeholders informed of project status.
• Ensure timely completion of projects by developing and adhering to schedules.
• Remain agile to adapt to frequent changes in project requirements or scope.
