Sierra Nevada Corporation seeks a Senior Proposal Manager to drive strategy and bid submissions for government and commercial opportunities, including IDIQs. You will lead the Proposal Center, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure compliant, compelling proposals that align with program goals.

The role requires a DoD/military background, strong communication, and the ability to mentor staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in related field.
• Higher level degree can substitute for experience.
• Demonstrated success in managing high-value proposals.
• Expertise with proposal management software and AI tools.
• Experience managing multiple proposals from planning to delivery.
• Extensive experience with technical products and logistics services.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to motivate/work with others.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Background in Aerospace and Defense or US DoD/Military.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsabilités

• Manage the proposal development center and oversee staff for government and commercial proposals.
• Plan, organize, facilitate and execute IDIQ proposals and ensure compliant, timely submissions.
• Direct management of the Proposal Center and overall bid/concept development.
• Oversee proposal writing, editing, graphics, pricing, data calls, and submission of all volumes.
• Coordinate documents, templates, schedules, and color reviews; lead status meetings.
• Ensure proposal processes meet compliance and business development goals.
• Mentor and supervise Proposal Center staff and subcontractor inputs.
• Engage in capture discussions to align bid strategy.
