Job summary

Michels Infrastructure Solutions is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead major hyperscale data center and mission-critical infrastructure projects nationwide. You will oversee safety, schedule, budget, and client relationships, directing teams across civil, utilities, power, and telecommunications disciplines.

You will mentor project staff, manage contracts from award to closeout, and coordinate with field leadership to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 7–10 years of related experience on major construction projects, including hyperscale data centers.
• Demonstrated success as the primary client-facing representative on large projects.
• Strong CRM, negotiation, and change-management skills.
• Experience managing contracts from award through closeout and mentoring project teams.
• Proficiency with scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and project controls.
• Experience with proposals, bids, and project pursuits.
• Willingness to travel ~75% across North America.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of project execution from pursuit through closeout.
• Oversee large hyperscale data center or multi-project programs with safety, schedule, quality, and financial accountability.
• Directly supervise and mentor Project Managers, Engineers, and junior staff.
• Review contracts, scopes, budgets, and execution plans; develop risk mitigation strategies.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and serve as the primary client-facing contact.
• Coordinate with field leadership to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
