Job summary

Michels Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support large-scale hyperscale data center projects. You will assist with planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, contract administration, and field coordination to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will work closely with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, traveling approximately 75% across North America and collaborating to meet safety, quality, and schedule targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of related experience in project management or construction management.
• Experience supporting scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and field coordination.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with the successful execution of mission-critical and hyperscale infrastructure projects.
• Review schedules, budgets, staffing requirements, and execution plans to understand project requirements.
• Coordinate activities with field leadership to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Support scheduling, forecasting, budgeting, procurement, and resource planning.
• Assist with contract administration, customer communication, project documentation, and change management.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all project activities.
• Participate in development of project schedules, work plans, budgets, forecasts, and tracking tools.
• Review progress and assist with updating budgets, forecasts, schedules, and performance metrics.
• Support QA/QC processes, testing, inspections, commissioning, and turnover requirements.
