Job summary

Dashiell is seeking a Project Manager in The Woodlands, TX to lead turnkey construction projects for high voltage substations, transmission lines and distribution networks. This role emphasizes planning, execution and monitoring across multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Electrical or Civil Engineering, with 10 years in substations/transmission and strong budget management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil Engineering or equivalent is required.
Professional Registration is preferred.
10 years experience in design, construction, or operations of substations and/or transmission lines is required.
10 years of experience in supervision/management of budgets and work groups is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Accountable for the cost, schedule, safety, quality and completion of construction projects.
Coordinate work with Purchasing to ensure material expediting and receipt.
Manage multiple project teams.
Prepare and maintain cash flows, monthly billing, and change orders for assigned projects.
Prepare monthly construction progress reports and re-projections.
Resolve inter-group conflicts and delays to meet construction goals.
Travel out of town for short periods as required by projects.
Other duties as required.
