Job summary

Dashiell is seeking a Project Manager to lead turnkey construction of high voltage substations and transmission lines from planning through execution in Cary, NC. The role requires guiding scope, schedule, and budgets for complex projects with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's in Electrical or Civil Engineering and 10 years of relevant experience, including supervision of budgets and teams. Travel to sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering or equivalent is required.
• 10 years experience in design, construction or operations of substations and/or transmission lines.
• Experience supervising budgets and work groups is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of substations, transmission systems and project control.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for cost, schedule, safety, quality and completion of construction projects.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to expedite material for projects.
• Manage multiple project teams and provide monthly reporting and change orders.
• Prepare cash flows and project progress reports; resolve conflicts to meet goals.
• Travel to project sites as required.
