Job summary

Dashiell is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead high voltage engineering projects in industrial or utility settings from Houston, TX. You will drive project planning, budgeting, and agreement with clients and suppliers, coordinating between internal teams and external stakeholders.

The role emphasizes proposal work, contract administration, and oversight of multi-discipline teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. Extensive travel and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Science, Construction Management or related field is required.
• Ten years of experience in supervision/management of budgets and work groups is required.
• Experience in managing high voltage projects is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of substations, substation control and transmission systems is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in project proposal and bid process with Sales.
• Negotiate, approve and execute prime contracts, subcontracts, and change orders.
• Review, evaluate and implement project specs, drawing releases and design changes.
• Communicate project status, risks, schedule and costs to stakeholders.
• Develop and approve project reports including budgeting and cash flow forecasts.
• Present project updates to senior management.
• Lead multi-discipline project teams.
• Direct and oversee subcontract bid processes and scope of work documents.
• Oversee prime and subcontractor invoicing.
• Direct securing of applicable project permits.
• Other duties as assigned.
