Granite Construction Incorporated is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of heavy civil construction projects up to $15 million in size. You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with estimators and project controls, and ensure profitability and safety on every project.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Three to five years progressive project experience in heavy civil environments; minimum five years in paving, dirt, and grading.
• Knowledge of construction paving, underground, concrete and grading practices; knowledge of union agreements and prevailing wage.

Responsibilities

• Forecast project revenue and costs to meet profitability goals.
• Coordinate with estimators and controls to set budget.
• Lead estimating efforts for bid-to-build processes.
• Manage resources with project team to meet schedules.
• Ensure proper job controls: quantities, costs, revenue, and schedule.
• Establish relationships with owners, agencies, subcontractors to foster partnerships.
