Job summary

Humana is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support a growing portfolio of Wisconsin Medicaid Market initiatives. You will provide PM oversight for system modernization efforts and enterprise projects, reporting to the Associate Director, PMO.

This role begins January 2027 and requires strong audit management experience. Responsibilities include auditing oversight, resource planning, and stakeholder coordination across departments and with external auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of project management, business, operational, or technical experience.
• PMP certification required.
• 1+ years leading project management best practices, contributing to PMO standards, and building organizational project management maturity.
• Must reside within the State of WI or a neighboring state commutable to WI (MN, IA, IL, MI).

Responsibilities

• Oversees projects for the Wisconsin Market Compliance Department with a primary focus on managing internal and external audits.
• Designs, communicates, and implements an operational plan for completing projects, monitoring progress and performance against the project plan, and resolves operational problems to minimize delays.
• Identify, develop, and gather resources to complete the project.
• Prepare work specifications, develop project schedules with project staff and external contractors.
• Communicate with other operational areas to secure specialized resources.
• Conduct meetings and prepare reports to communicate project status.
• Set priorities, allocate tasks, and coordinate project staff to meet targets.
• Identify audit requirements, gather and review data, and submit requirements to meet audit timelines.
• Coordinate communication with external auditors and prepare internal associates for audit interactions.
• Review audit findings, coordinate follow-ups with auditors, and develop remediation plans.
