Job summary

Humana is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support a growing number of projects within the Wisconsin Medicaid Market. You will provide PM support for system modernization projects and enterprise initiatives, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, and guiding audit processes.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of PM experience, PMP certification, and residency within WI or a commutable neighboring state.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of project management, business, operational, or technical experience.
• PMP certification.
• 1+ year leading PMO standards and contributing to organizational project management maturity.
• Must reside within the State of WI or a neighboring state commutable to WI (MN, IA, IL, MI).

Responsibilities

• Oversees projects for the Wisconsin Market Compliance Department with a primary focus on managing internal and external audits.
• Designs, communicates, and implements an operational plan for completing projects, monitoring progress and performance against the project plan, and resolves operational problems to minimize delays.
• Identify, develop, and gather the resources to complete the project.
• Prepare work specifications and develop project schedules with staff and external contractors.
• Communicate with other operational areas to secure resources and contributions for the project.
• Conduct meetings and prepare reports to communicate status of the project.
• Set priorities, allocate tasks, and coordinate project staff to meet targets and milestones.
• Identify audit requirements, gather data, and submit requirements to meet audit timelines.
• Coordinate communication with external auditors and prepare internal associates for audit interactions.
• Review audit findings and work with departments to track remediation plans.
