Job summary

Humana is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support the Wisconsin Medicaid Market's modernization initiatives. You will oversee PM for audits, regulatory changes, and enterprise projects, reporting to the Associate Director, Project Management.

The role starts January 2027 and may involve minimal travel. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of PM experience; PMP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of project management, business, operational, or technical experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or equivalent experience leading PMO standards and maturity.
• Must reside within WI or a neighboring.state commutable to WI (MN, IA, IL, MI).

Responsibilities

• Oversees projects for the Wisconsin Market Compliance Department with a primary focus on audits.
• Designs, communicates, and implements an operational plan for completing projects and monitors progress.
• Prepare work specifications, develops schedules, and coordinates project staff and external contractors.
• Communicate with other operational areas to secure resources for the project.
• Conduct meetings and prepare status reports for the project.
• Set priorities, allocate tasks, and coordinate staff to meet milestones.
• Identify audit requirements and coordinate with external auditors.
• Review audit findings and track remediation with departments.
