Job summary

Humana is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support Wisconsin Medicaid Market initiatives and system modernization projects. This role reports to the Associate Director, Project Management and focuses on PM oversight for audits, regulatory changes, and cross-functional delivery.

The role requires PMP certification, 5+ years in PM/operations/tech, and residency within WI or a commutable neighboring state. Remote work with occasional in-person collaboration may occur.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of project management, business, operational, or technical experience.
• PMP certification required.
• 1+ years leading project management best practices, contributing to PMO standards, and building organizational project management maturity.
• Must reside within WI or a neighboring state commutable to WI (MN, IA, IL, MI).

Responsibilities

• Oversees projects for the Wisconsin Market Compliance Department with a primary focus on audits.
• Designs and implements an operational plan for project completion and monitors progress.
• Identify, develop, and gather resources to complete the project.
• Prepare work specifications and create project schedules with staff and contractors.
• Communicate with other areas to secure resources and contributions.
• Conduct meetings and prepare reports on project status.
• Set priorities, allocate tasks, and coordinate staff to meet targets.
• Identify audit requirements, gather data, and submit to meet audit timelines.
• Coordinate communication with external auditors and prepare for audit interactions.
• Review audit findings and coordinate remediation plans with departments.
• Understand contractual requirements and policies to support audit needs.
