Job summary

TechPride seeks an experienced Project Manager to support the US Coast Guard by leading cross-functional projects that improve IT applications, logistics, manpower, budgeting, and incident response. This onsite role in Kearneysville, WV requires a hands-on leader with a strong background in governance and stakeholder engagement.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of PM experience, PMP certification, and the ability to navigate Agile and Waterfall environments, while coordinating with government

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience, USCG experience preferred.
• PMP certification is required.
• Ability to lead both Agile and Waterfall projects.
• Experience communicating with senior federal government leadership.
• Technical writing/editorial experience.
• Public Trust and US Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership of project workstreams aligned with program goals and USCG mission.
• Lead a ten-person contractor team and manage IT application/infrastructure enhancements and process improvements.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, risk management, communications, and SOPs.
• Facilitate governance meetings, program reviews, data calls, and stakeholder sessions.
• Coordinate activities using Teams, SharePoint, MS Planner, MS Project, Jira and Confluence.
• Analyze performance data, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and deliver reports and briefings to government stakeholders.
