D&G Solutions in Washington, D.C. is seeking a Project Manager for a U.S. Coast Guard modernization initiative focused on civil engineering and facilities management. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Management or Engineering, has a PMP certification, and is proficient in Microsoft Office tools. This is a hybrid position, requiring on-site work 3 days a week.

Job description

Job Overview
  • D&G Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to support a U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) modernization initiative focused on improving civil engineering, facilities management, and capital planning operations. This role will manage day-to-day execution of technical, analytical, and compliance support activities, coordinating cross-functional teams to implement digital, data, and process improvements. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading projects from initiation through completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets that meet the requirements of stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams to ensure successful project execution, including setting goals, objectives, and priorities.
  • Track schedules, risks, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple systems and stakeholders.
  • Monitor performance metrics and support continuous process improvement efforts.
  • Support leadership briefings, status updates, and performance reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal Real Property, cybersecurity, and financial management requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and store project documentation, including project plans, status reports, lessons learned, and other relevant records, in accordance with USCG's document management policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in Management or Engineering
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Learn and utilize USCG-specific program and management tools and applications for support services.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows (including the Office 365/One Drive/Teams, Microsoft Project, and SharePoint).
Eligibility Requirements
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and Common Access Card (CAC).
  • This role is restricted to U.S. person(s) (ie., U.S. citizens, permanent residents and other protected individuals under the immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).
