Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. is seeking a Commercial Construction Senior Project Manager - Government in Falls Church, VA. The role oversees small to large projects from discovery through implementation, ensuring safety, policy adherence, and contract terms are kept.

Expect leadership across preconstruction, subcontractor coordination, and closeout processes. Ideal candidates have 10+ years with a commercial GC and a four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business strongly preferred.
• Experience acquiring and/or contacting new clients.
• Ability to manage multiple project efforts concurrently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Maintains adherence to safety standards.
• Follows all job processes per HITT policies.
• Negotiates terms with clients.
• Monitors project progress with updated schedules.
• Ensures compliance with the project Quality Control Plan.
• Leads preconstruction and RFP package efforts.
• Delegates tasks to ensure smooth project operations.
• Maintains relationships with subcontractors and clients.
• Oversees timely closeout of projects.
