HITT Contracting Inc. is seeking a Commercial Construction Senior Project Manager to lead government projects in the Washington, D.C. region.

You will manage complex initiatives from discovery through development and execution, coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of experience with a commercial GC, a related four-year degree, and a proven ability to win new work while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Formación

• 10+ years of experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or business preferred.
• Experience acquiring new clients or winning work.
• Ability to manage multiple project efforts.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains adherence to HITT’s safety standards.
• Ensures project processes follow HITT policies.
• Negotiates contracts with clients.
• Monitors project progress with updated schedules.
• Ensures Quality Control Plan is followed.
• Supports staff in resolving subcontractor scope issues.
• Assesses and assigns field personnel within the project team.
• Identifies and negotiates time extensions.
• Acquires new work and maintains existing clients.
• Maintains relationships with subcontractors.
• Ensures timely closeout of projects.
• Leads preconstruction and RFP package efforts.
• Delegates tasks to keep project on track.
