Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. in Falls Church, VA, is seeking a Commercial Construction Project Manager for GovCloud projects. The PM will lead the project team to delivery on time, within budget, and to specified quality, serving as the main leader on site and coordinating across disciplines.

The role requires 5+ years in commercial construction, strong leadership, and proficiency with ProCore, JD Edwards, BlueBeam, Adobe, and MS Office. A four-year degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma; four-year degree preferred in construction, engineering, or business
• 5+ years’ experience in commercial construction with GC experience
• Ability to manage multiple projects and use sector software systems (ProCore, JD Edwards, BlueBeam, Adobe, MS Office)

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety compliance and document filing
• Create and manage project budgets for assigned projects
• Lead pre-construction RFP package development
• Conduct project meetings and set milestones with monthly owner reports
• Manage RFIs, submittals, pay applications, and subcontract change orders
• Schedule projects, ensure quality control, and oversee logistics
• Oversee closeout processes
• Engage with clients to discuss needs and align with services
• Supervise assistant PMs, admins, MEP managers, safety team
• Collaborate with superintendent and field teams through project life cycle
