Job summary

Veit is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Estimator to finalize bids and lead large-scale contract work from inception to completion. You will coordinate estimates, costs, schedules, and client communications to ensure profitable project delivery.

Responsibilities include bid development, managing multiple projects, ensuring compliance, and maintaining client relationships. Requires strong communication, math, and software skills with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree with extensive estimating and project management experience.
• Must have strong communication skills and ability to manage client relationships.
• Experience with Viewpoint Vista, HCSS software, and MS Office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Finalize client and public entity estimates and proposals.
• Seek out bid opportunities through client relationships and postings.
• Prepare full estimates for large complex work and coordinate bid submittals.
• Provide direction to multiple projects and coordinate with operations.
• Obtain permits and licensing where required.
• Manage project costs, billing, and ensure on-time invoicing.
• Ensure compliance with EEO/DBE requirements and safety standards.
• Maintain relationships with current and prospective clients.
• Supervise Estimator I/II and Project Manager/Estimators.
