Job summary

Veit & Company, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Estimator to finalize bids and secure projects, then lead large-scale contracts through completion. You will coordinate estimates, scheduling, cost control, and client communication across multiple projects.

Expect strong collaboration with operations, project controls, and field teams to ensure profitability, safety, and timely delivery. Travel to job sites and client meetings is possible as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 15+ years of estimating and managing large complex projects.
• Strong written and oral communication across management, vendors, and clients.
• Ability to read plans/specifications and develop comprehensive estimates.
• Knowledge of bidding processes and project management software.
• Proven ability to lead multi-project teams and maintain client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Finalize client and public entity estimates and proposals.
• Pursue bid opportunities through client networks and postings.
• Prepare full estimates for large complex work, reviewing plans and specs.
• Provide management direction to multiple projects and coordinate pre-construction meetings.
• Manage project costs, labor, materials, and invoicing with coordinators.
• Ensure safety, budget adherence, and on-time completion.
• Communicate with staff to meet EEO/DBE requirements and project scope.
